constant visual monitoring of normal operation. In the event of power or
lamp failure, the

Safety Sensor
indicates an alarm condition. This sensor can operate an optional
Solenoid Valve which stops water flow and can sound an optional Audio
Alarm whenever an abnormal condition is detected. For use with all
Minipure
and Mighty-Pure
Ultraviolet Water Purifiers and Sanitron
units (up to 20 gpm). |

| Time Delay Mechanism |

provides a two minute warm-up period during
which the ultraviolet lamp achieves full germicidal output before the
water is allowed to flow through the ultraviolet water purifier. The Time
Delay Mechanism is used in conjunction with, and is electrically connected
to, the Solenoid Valve.

| Flow Control Valve |

Control Valve limits water
flow to the rated capacity through the ultraviolet water purifier. For
example, if your water purifier has a maximum rated flow of 12 gallons per
minute, a 12 gpm flow control valve installed in the water line before the
purifier will automatically prevent the water flow from exceeding that
rate. Use of the Flow Control Valve is recommended by the U.S. Public
Health Service "Criteria for the Acceptability of an Ultraviolet
